ADF12 is an actin-depolymerizing protein. It severs actin filaments (F-actin) and binds to actin monomers.
Gene References Into Functions
- ADF7 and ADF10 exhibited differential expression patterns. ADF7 expression was observed during the microspore stage, while ADF10 expression was detected only during the polarized microspore stage. Notably, ADF10 was found to associate with filamentous actin in the developing gametophyte. PMID: 21632657
