Target Background

Function
The ATP1B1 antibody targets the beta subunit of the Na+/K+ ATPase, a crucial enzyme involved in maintaining cellular ion gradients. This subunit plays a vital role in regulating the number of sodium pumps transported to the plasma membrane by forming alpha/beta heterodimers. Additionally, it contributes to cell adhesion and establishing epithelial cell polarity.
