Function

This antibody targets CYP94C1, an enzyme involved in the oxidation of jasmonoyl-L-isoleucine (JA-Ile), a crucial bioactive phytohormone within the jasmonate-mediated signaling pathway. Specifically, CYP94C1 catalyzes the conversion of 12-hydroxy-JA-Ile (12OH-JA-Ile) to its carboxy-derivative, 12COOH-JA-Ile. This activity exerts negative feedback control on JA-Ile levels, thereby modulating jasmonate responses. Furthermore, CYP94C1 demonstrates in vitro activity as an in-chain fatty acid hydroxylase, catalyzing the hydroxylation of 12-hydroxy-jasmonoyl-L-phenylalanine (12OH-JA-Phe) to its carboxy-derivative, 12COOH-JA-Phe.
