Evidence suggests a role for CRK5 (At3g50530) in PIN2 (At5g57090) regulation. In vitro studies indicate that CRK5 phosphorylates PIN2's hydrophilic loop. Furthermore, crk5 mutants exhibit accelerated PIN2 accumulation in brefeldin bodies. (PMID: 23673979)
