Function
This antibody targets COBL10, a protein involved in the deposition of apical pectin caps and cellulose microfibrils within pollen tubes. While not essential for pollen development, hydration, or germination, COBL10 is crucial for pollen tube growth within the female pistil's transmitting tract and towards the micropyle. Its function involves the perception of ovule guidance cues.
