Function
UDP-glucose-dependent glucosyltransferase catalyzes the c-glucosylation of 2-hydroxyflavanones. The enzyme exhibits a preference for the dibenzoylmethane tautomers that exist in equilibrium with 2-hydroxyflavanones. It does not display activity towards naringenin or naringenin chalcone.
