Function
This antibody targets a seed storage protein with probable zinc metalloprotease activity. It specifically cleaves between Leu-15 and Tyr-16 of the insulin B chain and between Gln-1 and Leu-2 of the neurotensin (NT) peptide in vitro. This protein may play a role as an initiating endopeptidase during seed germination.
