Function
EBP1 antibody binds to RNA, specifically associating with mature 28S, 18S, and 5.8S rRNAs, several rRNA precursors, and likely U3 small nucleolar RNA. This interaction suggests a role in regulating intermediate and late stages of rRNA processing. EBP1 may also be involved in ribosome assembly. Furthermore, it is essential for the expression of cell cycle genes such as CYCD3-1, RNR2A, and CDKB1-1. Notably, EBP1 promotes organ growth in a dose- and auxin-dependent manner, stimulating both cell proliferation and expansion. This growth promotion is achieved through the regulation of RBR1 levels.
