Immunogen

The antibody was generated using a synthesized peptide corresponding to residues 131–180 of human GSC2 . This region is critical for DNA binding and transcriptional regulation .

Experimental Performance

• Western Blot:

  • Detects recombinant GSC2 (~21–22 kDa) but shows variable results in endogenous protein detection. Negative results were observed in A549, H226, HeLa, Jurkat, and MCF7 cell lysates .

  • Positive detection in mouse and rat testis tissues .

• ELISA:

  • Effective at dilutions up to 1:20,000 for recombinant GSC2 .

• Immunoprecipitation:

  • Negative results in tested cell lines .
