Target Background

Function
This antibody acetylates histone H3 and ADA2 proteins in vitro. It specifically acetylates lysine-14 of histone H3. Histone acetylation serves as a specific tag for epigenetic transcription activation. This antibody functions in conjunction with certain DNA-binding transcriptional activators. It operates through the formation of large multiprotein complexes that modify chromatin.
