Function
This antibody targets HPR2, a hydroxypyruvate reductase. HPR2 catalyzes the NADPH-dependent reduction of glyoxylate and hydroxypyruvate (HP) to glycolate and glycerate in the cytosol. This cytosolic pathway provides an alternative route to the core photorespiratory cycle, primarily functioning in the presence of NADPH and hydroxypyruvate.
