Function
This antibody targets Indole-3-Acetic Acid Carboxyl Methyltransferase 1 (IAMT1), an enzyme that catalyzes the methylation of indole-3-acetic acid (IAA), a key plant hormone. This methylation converts IAA to its methyl ester (MeIAA), thereby regulating IAA activity and influencing plant development and auxin homeostasis. IAMT1 is essential for proper leaf development and MeIAA is believed to be an inactive form of IAA.
