Function
This antibody targets EIF6-2, a protein that functions in eukaryotic ribosome biogenesis and translation initiation. Specifically, EIF6-2 binds to the 60S ribosomal subunit, inhibiting its association with the 40S subunit to prevent formation of the 80S initiation complex. It may also play a role in ribosome biogenesis.
