Target Background

Function
IFNGR2 forms a receptor complex with IFNGR1, mediating the signaling of the cytokine interferon gamma (IFNG). Ligand binding activates the JAK/STAT signaling pathway. IFNGR2 plays a crucial role in signal transduction, unlike the other receptor subunit responsible for ligand binding.
