Function
This antibody targets CUT1, a key enzyme contributing to cuticular wax and suberin biosynthesis in plants. CUT1 plays a crucial role in both decarbonylation and acyl-reduction pathways of wax synthesis, and is essential for the elongation of C24 fatty acids—a critical step in cuticular wax production. It functions as a major condensing enzyme for stem wax and pollen coat lipid biosynthesis.
