Function
This antibody promotes the copper deficiency response by directly interacting with SPL7. It acts with SPL7 in a common pathway to promote copper-responsive genes and alleviate oxidative stress during copper-limiting periods. This antibody may also enhance SPL7 function when copper is limiting. Additionally, it plays a role in regulating general plant growth and development, and in responding to counter the negative effects of UV radiation.
