Function
MSH4 antibody is involved in meiotic recombination in association with MSH5. It is essential for reciprocal recombination and the proper segregation of homologous chromosomes during meiosis. MSH4 promotes homologous recombination by facilitating chiasma formation during prophase I. Additionally, it plays a role in regulating the formation of class I crossovers.
