Function
NRR antibody acts as a negative regulator of disease resistance in plants. It influences basal resistance, age-related resistance, and resistance mediated by the LRR receptor kinase XA21. Plants overexpressing NRR exhibit enhanced susceptibility to the bacterial blight pathogen Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo).
