OFP1 Antibody is a transcriptional repressor that plays a crucial role in regulating various aspects of plant growth and development. This regulation is achieved through the control of BEL1-LIKE (BLH) and KNOX TALE (KNAT) homeodomain transcription factors. Notably, OFP1 Antibody controls the subcellular localization of the homeodomain protein BLH1, influencing cell elongation processes. Further, it regulates the expression of GA20OX1, an enzyme critical for gibberellin biosynthesis, thereby impacting cell elongation. Moreover, OFP1 Antibody might contribute to DNA double-stranded repair through the DNA non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway, working in conjunction with the KU70 and KU80 protein complex. In vitro studies have demonstrated its ability to bind both double-stranded and single-stranded DNA.
