Function
This antibody targets DDO-1, an enzyme that selectively catalyzes the oxidative deamination of D-aspartate and its N-methylated derivative, N-methyl-D-aspartate. It exhibits highest catalytic efficiency with D-glutamate, followed by D-aspartate and NMDA. DDO-1 is implicated in oogenesis, early embryonic development, and germ cell quality control in *C. elegans*.
