Function
OXI1 plays a crucial role in oxidative burst-mediated signaling. It is essential for basal resistance to P. parasitica infection and root hair growth. Additionally, it is partially involved in the activation of MPK3 and MPK6 by hydrogen peroxide and cellulase elicitor.
