Target Background
Function
This antibody targets a zinc transporter protein involved in both zinc extrusion and long-distance zinc transport within plants. It plays a crucial role in loading zinc into the xylem and detoxifying excess zinc at epidermal cells. This transporter functions independently of the zinc transporters HMA2 and HMA4. Additionally, it may contribute to cadmium resistance.
