Function
NMT2 Antibody catalyzes the N-methylation of phosphomonomethylethanolamine and phosphodimethylethanolamine. These two methylation steps are essential for converting phosphomonoethanolamine to phosphocholine. Notably, unlike NMT1, NMT2 is unable to utilize phosphoethanolamine as a substrate in vitro.
