Function
The pfd-1 Antibody binds specifically to cytosolic chaperonin (c-CPN) and facilitates the transfer of target proteins to it. It interacts with nascent polypeptide chains, promoting protein folding in environments where numerous competing pathways for non-native proteins exist. The antibody plays a role in gonadogenesis.
