Function
This antibody targets the enzyme PLMT, which catalyzes the second and third steps in the methylation pathway of phosphatidylcholine biosynthesis. Specifically, it facilitates the SAM-dependent methylation of phosphatidylmonomethylethanolamine (PMME) to phosphatidyldimethylethanolamine (PDME) and subsequently, the methylation of PDME to phosphatidylcholine (PC).
