Function
PPIL1 (Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase, also known as cyclophilin A) is involved in pre-mRNA splicing as a component of the spliceosome. PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides.
