Target Background

Function
PRPF6 is involved in pre-mRNA splicing as a component of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP complex, a crucial building block of the spliceosome. It enhances dihydrotestosterone-induced transactivation of the androgen receptor (AR) and dexamethasone-induced transactivation of the glucocorticoid receptor (NR3C1). However, it does not affect estrogen-induced transactivation.
