Function
RAB11FIP4 antibody acts as a regulator of endocytic traffic by participating in membrane delivery. It is essential for the abcission step in cytokinesis, potentially by acting as an 'address tag' that directs recycling endosome membranes to the cleavage furrow during late cytokinesis. In the case of infection by human cytomegalovirus (HCMV), RAB11FIP4 may participate in the egress of the virus out of the nucleus. This function is independent of ARF6.
