Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Reconstitution
We recommend briefly centrifuging the vial before opening to ensure the contents are settled at the bottom. Reconstitute the protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. For long-term storage, we suggest adding 5-50% glycerol (final concentration) and aliquoting the solution at -20°C/-80°C. Our standard glycerol concentration is 50%, which can serve as a reference.

ADP:ATP antiporter mediates the import of ADP into the mitochondrial matrix for ATP synthesis and the export of ATP to fuel cellular processes. It cycles between the cytoplasmic-open state (c-state) and the matrix-open state (m-state), operating by the alternating access mechanism with a single substrate-binding site that is intermittently exposed to either the cytosolic (c-state) or matrix (m-state) side of the inner mitochondrial membrane.
