The recombinant protein is synthesized in heterologous systems to enable large-scale production for research and diagnostic purposes. Key applications include:
Application
Details
ELISA/Western Blotting
Detects cyclin-E1 expression levels in zebrafish tissues or cell lysates.
SDS-PAGE
Validates protein size and purity (45 kDa band).
Cell Cycle Studies
Investigates G1/S transition dynamics in zebrafish models of cancer or developmental biology.
Challenges and Future Directions
Limited Specific Data: Most research focuses on human or murine CCNE1, with zebrafish-specific studies emerging.
Host System Optimization: Improving yield and solubility in heterologous systems (e.g., yeast vs. insect cells) remains a technical challenge.
Functional Studies: Investigating zebrafish CCNE1’s role in embryogenesis or cancer models could expand its utility.

Product Specs
Form
Lyophilized powder. We will ship the available format, but if you have special format requirements, please note them when ordering, and we will fulfill your request.
Lead Time
Delivery times vary by purchase method and location. Consult your local distributor for specific delivery information. All proteins are shipped with standard blue ice packs. Requesting dry ice requires prior communication and incurs extra fees.
Notes
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Working aliquots can be stored at 4°C for up to one week.
Reconstitution
Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening to collect contents at the bottom. Reconstitute protein in sterile deionized water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. Adding 5-50% glycerol (final concentration) and aliquoting for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C is recommended. Our default final glycerol concentration is 50%.
Shelf Life
Shelf life depends on storage conditions, buffer components, storage temperature, and protein stability. Generally, the liquid form has a 6-month shelf life at -20°C/-80°C, and the lyophilized form has a 12-month shelf life at -20°C/-80°C.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C/-80°C upon receipt. Aliquot for multiple uses. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Tag Info
The tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process. If you have a specific tag type requirement, please inform us, and we will prioritize developing with your specified tag.
Essential for cell cycle control at the G1/S (start) transition.
Gene References Into Functions
1. The intestinal clock regulates the expression of key cell cycle regulators like cdc2, wee1, p21, PCNA, and cdk2, but has a weaker influence on cyclin B1, cyclin B2, and cyclin E1 expression. (PMID: 24013905)
