Note: We will prioritize shipping the format we have in stock. However, if you have a specific format preference, please indicate it in your order notes, and we will fulfill your request if possible.
Lead Time
Delivery time may vary depending on your purchase method and location. Please contact your local distributors for specific delivery time estimates.
Note: All proteins are shipped with standard blue ice packs. If you require dry ice shipping, please contact us in advance. Additional fees may apply.
Notes
Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Reconstitution
We recommend centrifuging the vial briefly before opening to ensure the contents settle at the bottom. Reconstitute the protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. For long-term storage, we recommend adding 5-50% glycerol (final concentration) and aliquoting the solution. Store at -20°C or -80°C. Our standard final concentration of glycerol is 50%, which can be used as a reference.
Shelf Life
The shelf life is influenced by various factors, including storage conditions, buffer composition, storage temperature, and the inherent stability of the protein.
Generally, the shelf life of liquid protein is 6 months at -20°C or -80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized protein is 12 months at -20°C or -80°C.
Storage Condition
Store at -20°C or -80°C upon receipt. Aliquoting is recommended for multiple uses. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Tag Info
The tag type will be determined during the manufacturing process.
If you have a specific tag type preference, please inform us, and we will strive to incorporate it into production.

Target Background

Function
Essential cell division protein that coordinates cell division and chromosome segregation. The N-terminus plays a role in the assembly of the cell-division machinery. The C-terminus functions as a DNA motor that moves double-stranded DNA in an ATP-dependent manner towards the dif recombination site, located within the replication terminus region. It is required for the activation of the Xer recombinase, facilitating chromosome unlinking through recombination.
