Reconstitution
Centrifuge the vial briefly before opening to collect the contents. Reconstitute the protein in sterile, deionized water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. For long-term storage, we recommend adding 5-50% glycerol (final concentration) and aliquoting at -20°C/-80°C. Our standard glycerol concentration is 50%, but this can be adjusted as needed.
Shelf Life
Shelf life depends on storage conditions, buffer composition, temperature, and protein stability. Generally, liquid formulations have a 6-month shelf life at -20°C/-80°C, while lyophilized formulations have a 12-month shelf life at -20°C/-80°C.

F1F0 ATP synthase synthesizes ATP from ADP utilizing a proton or sodium gradient. This enzyme comprises two domains: the F1 domain, which houses the extramembraneous catalytic core, and the F0 domain, which contains the membrane proton channel. These domains are connected by a central and peripheral stalk. ATP synthesis in the F1 catalytic domain is coupled to proton translocation via the rotary mechanism of the central stalk subunits. This protein is a component of the F0 channel and forms part of the peripheral stalk, linking the F1 and F0 domains.
