Repeated freezing and thawing is not recommended. Store working aliquots at 4°C for up to one week.
Reconstitution
We recommend briefly centrifuging the vial prior to opening to ensure the contents settle at the bottom. Reconstitute the protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. We recommend adding 5-50% glycerol (final concentration) and aliquoting for long-term storage at -20°C/-80°C. Our default final glycerol concentration is 50%, which can serve as a reference for your own protocols.
Shelf Life
Shelf life is influenced by various factors, including storage conditions, buffer components, temperature, and the protein's inherent stability. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20°C/-80°C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20°C/-80°C.
Storage Condition

The phosphoenolpyruvate-dependent sugar phosphotransferase system (sugar PTS), a key carbohydrate active transport system, catalyzes the phosphorylation of incoming sugar substrates concurrently with their translocation across the cell membrane. The enzyme II CmtAB PTS system plays a role in D-mannitol transport.
