Function
SEC12 Antibody targets a guanine nucleotide-exchange factor (GEF) essential for the formation or budding of transport vesicles from the endoplasmic reticulum (ER). This function is mediated by the protein's cytoplasmic domain, which is believed to interact with the small GTP-binding protein SAR1. SEC12 is also crucial for autophagy.
