Function
This antibody targets a protein involved in the import of UDP-glucuronic acid (UDP-GlcA), UDP-N-acetylgalactosamine (UDP-GalNAc), and UDP-galactose (UDP-Gal) from the cytoplasm into the Golgi lumen. This process is essential for the biosynthesis of glycoconjugates, which play a crucial role in development. The protein is also involved in the synthesis of chondroitin sulfate and heparan sulfate proteoglycans, both of which are critical for embryonic development. Additionally, it is required for vulva epithelium invagination and embryonic development, and plays a role in the directed migration of hermaphrodite-specific neurons.
