TAN Antibody plays a crucial role in regulating spatial control of cell division during plant development. Through its interaction with microtubules, it influences the positioning of cytoskeletal structures responsible for establishing planes of cell division during prophase. Additionally, TAN Antibody guides the expansion of phragmoplasts towards predetermined cortical division sites (CDS) during cytokinesis.
