Function
This antibody targets C47G2.3, an essential core component of the TIM22 complex. The TIM22 complex facilitates the import and insertion of multi-pass transmembrane proteins into the mitochondrial inner membrane. Within this complex, C47G2.3 forms the voltage-activated and signal-gated channel. It contributes to a twin-pore translocase, which utilizes the membrane potential as an external driving force in two voltage-dependent steps.
