Function
This antibody targets disease resistance proteins. These proteins protect plants from pathogens possessing corresponding avirulence proteins. The interaction, either direct or indirect, between the resistance and avirulence proteins triggers a plant defense mechanism, including the hypersensitive response, which effectively limits pathogen proliferation.
