Function
KTI2 Antibody targets a water-soluble, chlorophyll-binding protein. This protein is believed to not function as a chloroplast chlorophyll carrier and is not involved in photosynthesis. It plays a role in regulating cell death in the transmitting tract and septum epidermis during flower development. KTI2 Antibody binds and inhibits the activity of the cysteine protease RD21A, acting as a pro-death protein. This suggests a potential role in herbivore resistance activation during seedling greening.
