- MEF2 positively regulates the expression of HZF1. PMID: 21468593
- Research has identified the trans-activation domain at amino acid residues 49-197 within the non-zinc finger region of HZF1. Three nuclear localization signals have been identified within the zinc finger region. PMID: 19763908
